Paul Mellon Centre

The Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art commissioned Intelligent Heritage to review its overall technology position in the light of the appointment of a new director (Mark Hallett).

We completed the review in May 2012 and made a series of detailed recommendations across a broad spectrum – overall technology infrastructure, collections management strategy, online services, collaborative research and digital art history tools etc.

The Paul Mellon Centre accepted the recommendations and invited Intelligent Heritage to set up a programme of work (now called Project Nova) to deliver the range of hardware, software and supporting tools to enable online scholarly cataloguing initiatives, collaborative research projects, a new website and contributions of Paul Mellon Centre archives as Open Linked Data.
